I'm currently designing a battery powered system that will use a 12 cell LiFePO4 (38.4 V) battery pack.
Taking the Battery Management Unit schematic this file as reference, I selected the BQ76940 as monitor, the BQ78350 as gas gauge and controller, and the BQ76200 as high side FET driver.
Is there any Texas Instrument IC that can work as Charge Manager or Charger for the CC/CV control and communicate with the BQ78350?
Is there any Texas Instrument Battery Charger IC for 12 cell configuration? or any stackable solution?
I found this question and it was mention that: "...there are some chargers which can accept the charger broadcasts from the bq78350 (and other gauges) directly. More commonly, a host controller will read the recommended levels from the gauge and then send the recommendation to the charger". What IC does this?
In that same question the BQ40Z60 was suggested as a solution, but this does not apply for my case because I have a 12S configuration
