Hi All

I have unplugged my bq34z100g1 while I was uploading a default golden file. Now I can not talk to It.

How can I recover the device. (running I2C)

Could you disconnect the device from the power source? Sometimes it will reset the device.

Nope. Tried, the unit does not communicate. There must be a way.......?

Interrupting the programming process can cause the device to get into a state where it cannot be recovered. The only options would be to try to reload the srec file or remove and really power to the device. You can also try pressing the Execute FW button on the Programming screen to try to return it to normal mode. If non of these work, then the device will need to be replaced.
