Hi,

If I don't want to use the Vout (buck converter) of BQ25570, how to connect the VOUT_SET pin, to GND or floating?

For other Vout related pins, VOUT_EN should be tied to GND, and Lbuck, Vout just left floating (no decoupling cap needed), right?

I tried this in the lab and you can leave the VOUT_EN, VOUT_SET and VOUT floating. You can also leave the LBUCK not populated.

Hi Gautham,

From current consumption point of view, does floating for all that 4 pins (VOUT_EN, VOUT_SET, VOUT and LBUCK) the best choice?
For VOUT_EN, their is internal pull-down, is it?

Rongfeng,

I dont see a pull-down resistor on the VOUT_EN so I recommend you to tie that to GND. Other nodes shouldn't lead to higher current consumption.

Hi Gautham,

Thanks for your reply. I have 1 more question.
If we use a magnet to fix the top and bottom cover, which magnet type,size or strength is recommend to be used in order not to affect the charging circuit? If we put magnet at the edge area or the PCB (circuit at center area), is it ok?
