Hi,

I received a following question from my customer.

When the frequency is changed during lighting, is there any problem brightness?

i.e.) varying brightness from setting, rising brightness, etc

    Hi,

    Do you mean SW freq and/or PWM out dimming freq?
    Both are not supposed to be changed during normal operation. Boost freq change will affect regulation loop and output voltage level may fluctuate temporarily which often causes brightness changes for instant moment.
    PWM freq change also affects duty cycle change for one PWM cycle at least and this may cause brightness changes for instant moment.
