TPS7A8300 - About setting of GND

Hi Kanemaru,

As noted in the datasheet in the foldback current limit section, the TPS7A83 does not start-up into a negative voltage due to the foldback current limit. This will be the biggest issue. It will also exceed the abs. max rating for the device.

Hi Kanemaru,

If you can enable the TPS7A83's output voltage first than it should start-up. However you need to make sure that there isn't an event that will cause the output voltage to get pulled negative.

Stability is also a concern - at the very least the TPS7A83 should have it's required Cout from Vout to it's ground, but more may be required for proper operation.

What is the end application for this?
