LM5000 in SEPIC topology?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5001, LM5000, TPS61175

Hi there,

I want to design a voltage converter from 24V to a variable output voltage from 12V to 36V.

Actually, I'm planning to use SEPIC topology.

LM5001 seems to fit, but has a too low Imax rating of only 1A.

Thus, I'm thinking of using the LM5000 instead (Imax=2A),

but in the datasheet, there is no remark for SEPIC topology.

1) Is the LM5000 suitable to be used in SEPIC topology?
2) Are there any Spice Models of the LM5000?

Best regards, Andy
