Hello,

If the TPS74801 is not being powered but the PG signal is up and will remain high for quite some time, maybe a few seconds, will there be any adverse consequences to the IC by leaving the biasing on the PG pin for that long?

Hi Mike,

This is covered by the abs max rating, and possible the EC spec Ipg depending on voltage levels. What is the voltage level on Vpg, Vin, and Vbias?

Thanks for the follow up, David.

Voltages before turn on are as follow:
Vin = 0V
Vbias = 0V
Vpg = 3.3V

Post turn on:
Vin = 1.8V
Vbias = 5V
Vpg = 3.3V
Vout=1.2V
