Hi Sloan and Ben,
bqStudio is the tool for calibrating and programming the gauge. Here is a User's Guide for the BQ34Z100 EVM that introduces you to bqStudio. It is a guide for setting the registers, chemistry, calibration, and programming of the BQ34Z100 through the bqStudio program. It's worth looking through even if you don't have the EVM. Here is a Guide on how to run a gauge learning cycle to find the chemistry ID of the cell you are using.

Hi Ahamad
That is true but it does not tell you how and what to set and what to look for when you enter your parameters when you try to create a golden file. The SLU334B is for the bq20zxx and there seems to be some differences between the config of it and the 34z100g1.
I have my gauge running and it indicates some Full charge capacity 10% less than the pack states. With that I can live but the max error never goes lower than a 100%.
I have now down 9 cycles and the update status is still at 04. And with each charge and discharge I have waited for OCVTAKEN to set. So why does my Max error never goes below 100%?
KInd regards
Ben
