LDO with low soft start time

Hi, 

I require an LDO with lower noise and with good load and line regulation. The soft start of the LDO should be lower (within 150us preferably). Can you please suggest me a few devices?

Also, I have found the TPS7A7100 device which supports fast transient response. What is the minimum soft start time possible with it?

    Hi Prachi,

    The TPS7A83/4/5 and TPS7A87/8/9 families can meet your needs. They are 1% accurate over all conditions and below 5uVrms of noise, with an externally adjustable soft-start.

    The TPS7A83/4/5 family are 2/3/4 A devices with ANYOUT which is an internally matched resistor divider to give 1% accuracy for any Vout that can be set with the internal divider.

    The TPS7A87/8/9 family are dual channel 0.5/1/2 A devices with a pin-programmable soft-start current. This pin lets you set the charging current to 100 uA (typ) for charging larger Cnr/ss capacitors while still keeping a fast turn-on.
