PFM design for UC2825

Hi Team,

My customer considers to design not PWM mode(fixed frequency) but PFM mode with UC2825.
He considers to input external Ramp signal to Ramp pin and not using internal OSC as the following schematic.
Do you think it is reasonable design for UC2825?

Hi Kensuke-san,

The UCC25600 may be an easire part to use for a variable frequency fixed duty cycle output.

If the customer wants to change the duty cycle then the UC2825 should work. They could also use the UCC28C4x type devices which are newer and use less power.

do you know input voltage range, vout, and Iout max? also what topology they are using?

In addition to what Peter mentioned, we may also be able to consider some of our hysteretic controllers.
