Hi Folks,

We are designing a product where it requires crank support feature. Basically this product will be use in automotive. We selected LM25088-Q1 IC DC-DC converter IC automotive part. While going through the internal block diagram of the IC, Is UVLO supports the crank feature?

Can you please tell us, Which block supports the cold crank feature in IC LM25088-Q1?

I don't see any reference to "crank" in the datasheet. Can you clarify your question? What specific electrical specification do you require?

What are the design specification for this project? (VIN range, VOUT, IOUT, Switching Frequency)

The UVLO pin is used to disable switching when the input voltage is below a certain level. See Section 8.3.2 of the datasheet for more details.

What is the lowest voltage of the demanded cold crank specification? The operation of the device is down to 4.5V.

Hi,

Vin range is (includes cold crank) -- > 1.5V to 33V
Vout --> 5V
Iout --> 3 to 4A max

Please suggest the suitable dc-dc IC for our requirement.

I don't show anything in webench that meets that range. Do you need to operate all the way down to 1.5 V input?
