Hi,

I have a question about TPS55340-Q1.

My customer is looking for a buck-boost convertor.

I think that TPS55340-Q1 meets their requirements.

They are requesting the buck-boost convertor to conform with ISO7637-2 level-4.

Can this device conform to the ISO7637-2 level-4?

Are you referring to test pulse 4?

This pulse simulates supply voltage reduction caused by energizing the starter-motor circuits of internal combustion engines, excluding spikes associated with starting (see Annex F).

We do not specifically test that.

There are no plans for any testing. I would suppose this would have to be performed by an outside agency. I certainly do not have that capability here. What is the business case? If the volumes are high enough we may consider it. The transition times look slow. I would not think it would be difficult to pass.
