bq51003-764 / How to calculate resonant capacitor

Hi,

Please let me ask about how you calculated the resonant capacitors that are used in bq51003-764. I'm asking this because IWAS-4832FF-50 from Vishay has 9.7uH(typ), however the Ls calculated from resonant capacitors in bq51003-764 is 13.5uH.

    Hi Sonoki,

    I suspect that the value for the C1 capacitors was chosen based on the ability to run with multiple coils.  The BOM on the datasheet lists multiple coils.  Any of the coils will work on the board with the chosen capacitors, but it may not be optimal for all.

    You are correct that the calculation does not match with the coil.
