Hi All,

I am new to the PFC controllers. I have found the UCC28050/38050 and UCC28810 are found to be looking similar and both can be used for PFC pre-regulator application. Can any one explain the difference between these IC's?

    These devices are very similar in function and both can be designed for critical conduction mode PFC.  However, the UCC28050 was design for general PFC boost pre-regulators while the UCC28810 was intended for lighting.
