Hi Sir,

BQ25895 OTG can support 3.1A, why TI design PMP4496 and PMP11536 need add TPS61235 for boost 5V/3A?

    The OTG output of bq25895 is on the PMID pin. The 9V or 12V VBUS from a high voltage adaptor is bypassed to PMID. A separated boost output port for 5V is required. Therefore, a boost converter is added in the reference design.
