BQ24780S: Maximum Duty Cycle , UVLO disabled

We are using BQ24780SRUYT in the new revision of a consumer steam therapy product.Can we get some support as we test corner case power delivery? Planning to bring to market in 2016 Q4 EAU 20k units.

 

  1. What is maximum duty cycle?
    1. We are a battery operated system and need to validate ability to deliver proper power to our resistive load at Vin minimum. Is there a limit to the duty cycle for this part that is preventing our low dropout high power operation?  

  2. Can we disable ULVO?
    1. We are using this part to drive a)resistive heater and b) recharge our batteries. When we operate the heater the UVLO trickle charge is enabled, limiting Iout to 500ma until Vout >2.4V! Can we get a part that does not have this UVLO level trip battery (we are having success adding a soft start to a high side switch but this is not ideal).
