Linux Driver for bq28z610

I am working on an embedded board that attaches to the bq28z610evm and need a Linux driver for it. Does one currently exist? If not, what existing TI power management driver would be the best one to use as a basis for developing a driver for the bq28z610? Would it be the bq27xxx_battery driver? Note that I don't plan on doing much with the driver; mostly just read access. I believe I can do most, if not all, of the setting up of the bq28z610 using BQStudio.

Hi Sonja,
We currently do not have any linux drivers specifically for the bq28z610. You can indeed complete the configuration and extraction of your golden file using bqstudio. The bq27xxx battery driver would be the best basis to develop your own driver for the bq28z610.

Hi,

Anybody have done using the same bq28z610. If i am using the bq27xxx battery driver directly will it work with bq28z610 Hardware chip.
