Question about COMP pin of LM2587

I don't understand the purpose of COMP pin in LM2587. And how to select resistor RC, CC which connected to COMP pin. Any help was appriciate.

    The COMP pin is to compensate the internal error amplifier. We are currently working on enabling the LM2587 on Webench. It is one of our very old devices and it was supported by another software called SWITCHERS MADE SIMPLE. Version 4.21 of that software is available at www.rose-hulman.edu/.../

    You could use that if possible. In the meanwhile we will find some calculation methods to share with you.
