Where would I find the most up to date BQ27GDK000EVM firmware to download? I'm looking for the firmware for the GDK section (not the EV2400) which I would install using the MSP430 USB Firmware Upgrade Example Software, as described in the user guide. I cannot find any firmware image links on the website. The box that pops up on the Bq27GDK000EVM page which states to update the GDK firmware gives only a link for the EV2400 firmware, nothing for the GDK section. I've already erased the GDK with the MSP430 USB firmware, so not I cannot use the board until I find the actual firmware to update/reinstall.

Hello Ethan,

There are 2 MSP430's on the GDK: one for the charging/discharging control loops, the other is the EV2400. The GDK ships with the latest firmware to control the charging/discharging.

Can you please elaborate what you mean by "I've already erased the GDK with the MSP430 USB firmware"? Are you saying that you flashed the MSP430 that controls the charging/discharging on the GDK?

Short version of the story: I attempted to flash the GDK MSP430 with the wrong firmware file. And I cannot find a firmware version to reinstall on the website.

Long version of the story: On the BQ27GDK000EVM website page, I downloaded a file from the popup box stating "Important Note" through the "Firmware Download" button. Windows 10 downloaded the file (sluc578) with no file extension. I assumed that was the firmware file. I now know that the complete file name should have been sluc578.zip and it has nothing to do with the GDK, just the EV2400. Didn't know that at the time. Regardless, I attempted to flash the GDK micro with the sluc578 file. It erased the GDK micro and now I don't have the proper image to re-flash with.
