Hi,

Currently we are using AM5728 processor of sitara. for that IC we are using the PMIC of part no TPS6590376.

In reference design provided by TI they are using TPS6590374 and we are confuse that in reference pin no M4 N3 and N4 of PMIC are NC pins but in data sheet of TPS659037 it is Power input voltage for internal LDO . If is power pins then what power should we have to give on these pins ?

Hi,

Thanks for the information. We have one more doubt. In data sheet of PMIC it is mentioned that "GPIO_4 and GPIO_6 are in the VIO domain and need the I/O supply to be available" In our design we left floating these two pins. Is it ok ? or we have to connect these two GPIO .

Hi Neelam,

It is ok to leave floating. That statement means that the GPIO_4 and GPIO_6 supply comes from VIO. If VIO is not present and you enable one of those GPIOs, you won't get any output because their supply is turned off.

You should not connect the outputs to VIO, since they are push-pull outputs. Floating is correct if they are unused.
