Wireless device charger - technical help?

Hi, I am a product/gift designer wanting to develop a range of interior products to charge smart phones / iPad etc.

I have little to no knowledge in this field and hope one of you guys could point me in the right direction.  I want to use this technology to put inside and design objects that can be used to charge the devices.

I've been looking at the small Qi wireless pads that are available such as Samsung, but need knowledge of what's out there, what they do (in layman's terms) and what's up and coming in the future for charging devices

When I know more it could help me find a manufacturer or university to develop the concept with

    I sugget you start with Support & training tab.  There you can find blogs, videos and the E2E forum (where you posted this) that may help with an introduction.

    The Technical documents tab has more in-depth articles.
