Hello,

The LM5060EVM Ambient temperature range is 0C to 50C.
Could you please let me know this reason?

    Ryuji,

    50 deg ambient is an EVM, not IC limitation.  Based on the FET used and keeping pcb temp below 105C.  The EVM FET is 30 mohm and with ptc Temp Coefficient, power dissipation will exceed 1W.  PCB theta to ambient with normal Cu on an EVM will be ~ 40 deg C /watt.  Ambient can be increased by either using a different (lower Rdson) FET or add airflow.  Keep in mind current limit is based on Rdson of the FET and the current source inside the LM5060 - which can be wide tolerance overall so some caution is placed on the design.  50 deg ambient is very typical of customer designs.
