In UCD90160, PWM1/GPI1 means fixed 10-khz PWM output or GPI. Then is it output pin?
And excluding margining usage, could you please tell me below usage? Looks it is open-loop PWM.

Hi there,
PWM1/GPI1 can be used as open loop PWM output or GPI input. So when you assign this pin as PWM, it outputs, and vice versa.
For your schematic, I believe you are using Pin31 as a GPI? Pushing button will trigger the GPI.
