bq34z100-G1 not auto-detecting with EV2300

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ34Z100-G1, BQSTUDIO

Hi,

We are trying to connect to bq34z100-G1 fuel-gauge chip using I2C interface of EV2300. We've isolated the microcontroller from the fuel-gauge and have connected Clock, Data and Ground pins with the corresponding fuel gauge pins. Vout is not connected anywhere. The chip is connected with a 12V Lead-Acid battery.

When Connected to bqstudio 1.3.52, EV2300 is detected but the fuel-gauge is not auto detected.

Could anybody tell what we are doing wrong and why the fuel-gauge is not auto-detected?

Regards
