UCD3028 Software Reset

As we know, UCD3028 cannot be software reset frequently during its working. But there are still many products without the workaround solution (reset design based on state-machine) on the field. For the customer, they had the field risk and asked us for help. Could we find how many times software reset would cause the anomaly? Or which factors have more possibilities to contribute the failure? Thanks
