My customer evaluates TPS54202EVM under Vin=6V, Vout=5.1V.

But it's Vin_min is 8V.

Can I use it under Vin=6V?

Hi,

Sure, You can change the EN pin resistors to change the startup and shutdown threshold. You also can remove the EN pin resistor to make EN float..bull

Thank you for the answer.
My customer changed the EN pin resistor.
TPS54202 can operate under duty cycle 100%,
so I think this devise keep 5V output under Vin=6V, Iout≥1A.
But when Iout was over 1A, Vout was drop.
Could it keep Vout under this condition?

My customer's conditions

Vin=6V

Vout=5.1V

Iout=1A

Hi,
It all depends on the DCR of the inductor and ESR of the input cap. you need to have smaller resistance between VIN and VOUT, since the voltage delta is small.

Yokota,

TPS54202 can support vin=6V,Vout=5.1V and 2A application.
Do you test it on the EVM board?
Could you please send me the schematic?
