Bq40z60 charge failures

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ40Z60

Trying to run a learning cycle on a bq40z60 with a 3s LiPO.  The charge seemed to proceed normally, with the current tapering down to about 20mA before the charge stopped.  However, the FC bit did not set, and the RSOC went from 100% to 0%, with the battery still full.  What is required to get the FC bit to set?

One odd thing was that the charge current dropped to zero briefly during charge, but the charge resumed.  Any idea what caused this?

Log attached.

Thanks for any help.

The FCC is the pack is about 415 mAh, but over 540mA charge is passed into the pack during the charging. The initial Qmax must be set low. I would not worry about the FC but until after you have completed the optimization cycle. Just wait for the REST flag to set during the reset periods.
