BQ25120 capacitive load / coil current peaks

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25120, TPS62740

Hello

The BQ25120 has an LDO and a buck regulator output. What's the max. capacitive load for these outputs?

The BQ25120 buck regulator works with DCS control (first page on the datasheet). I would have assumed that the coil current peak is constant for light loads. But what I see is that the current peaks are getting reduced around 3,4mA. What's the reason for that? Since this current peak reduction happens in a rather uncontrolled way it causes higher current peaks on the input of the buck regulator (battery). Is there somewhere a good description how the buck regulator works in this IC?

Thank you and kind regards

Chris
