TPS61090 stop working with a 5v power supply

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61090

We have using TPS61090 to design a booster, its output is 5v with 500mA, its input is from a MCP73871 output, MCP73871 also used to charging a 2000mA battery, MCP73871 input power get from a USB 1A power supply.

recently, we found sometime the TPS61090 will stop working (no 5v output), that happen when the MCP73871 fully changed battery, and that USB 1A PS still connected, follow the datasheet of MCP73871, MCP73871 will use PS to feeding TPS61090, that is a 5V voltage to TPS61090, now became the TPS61090 input is 5v, output is 5v, is this good in design? as its input/output voltage is same now, but follow TPS61090 datasheet it can accept input even up to 5.5v. but now problem is its stopped working.

Any suggestion is welcome

Thank you
