BQ25895/BQ25896: does D+/D- go to Hiz after Detection ?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25896, BQ25895, TS3USB221A

Hi,

this is certainly an obvious question/answer, but nevertheless

Q1: can I connect D+ and D- in parallel to a BQ25895/BQ25896 and a cpu usb port through a Usb buffer (TS3USB221A or equivalent)

Q2: if yes: can I use the DSEL outut for enabling/disabling the buffer of cpu Usb path?

Q3: is it possible to have a complete datasheet for the bq25896?

Thanks,

Bruno

Regarding Q1, the D+/D- lines go high Z after at most 2 seconds following input power up , unless the MCU writes to the I2C register that forces input detection.

Regarding Q2, DSEL is low during detection, goes high when SDP and non-standard adapter are detected but stays low if DCP is detected.
