multiple output linear regulator or multiple output switching regulator which is to be used

Hi

I am designing multi-rail type power supply for microprocessor based system. It includes supply like 1.2V  0.85A (For Core), 3.3V 0.9A (For I/Os and peripheral)  and system will operate on 400MHz clock signal. Which regulator is to be used for this type of application linear or switching . What all parameters I should consider while selecting regulator (except efficiency).

  I got two IC in power management section one is linear regulator (TPS 70302) and other one is switching regulator                     ( TPS65023) . Please suggest which one is best?
