May we have PMIC can dynamic adjust 4 outputs by I2C or SPI for SSD application?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LP8758-E0

Dear Sir

May we have PMIC can dynamic adjust 4 outputs(power sequence/enable/Vout voltage ) by I2C or SPI for SSD application?

Vin is 5V Vout is adjustable and output current is 4A/3A/3A/3A. like ACT8870.

  • Hello,

You could check http://www.ti.com/product/LP8758-E0 is that suitable for the application. Can you tell more details about the use case, average currents etc.?

    Thanks.

  • Hi Sir

The customer want use I2C(or SPI) to control output voltage after power on. for example, here after power on that buck1 =1V/buck2 = 1.8V/buck3=3.3V buck4=2.5V.

and some condition they want to dynamic control let buck1 = 1.5V/turn off buck 2/ buck 3=2.8V/ buck4 =2V. and customer also help can control power sequence by dynamic.

  • Hello,

Ok, sounds like LP8758-E0 would be a good fit for this. It allows enabling/disabling outputs/changing the voltage level with gpio pins as well as with I2C registers.

    Thanks.
