Hi,
i'm student and i'm working to design circuit for batterie charging and switch sector/batterie.the batterie must stop charging when it gonna be ful.i'm asking if someone can help me to choose the best IC between BQ78350 / B34Z100 for my application, and what are the difference between both of them?

There are quite a few differences between these gauges. First you will need to know what type of batteries will be used. the bq78350 only supports Li-Ion, where the bq34z100-G1 supports Li-Ion, NiMH and PbA cells. The bq34z100 is just a gauge, so it does not support protection, cell monitoring, cell balancing, FET control, etc. The bq78350 is part of a chipset, so you will also need to use its companion AFE (bq769x0) The chipset supports all of the feature listed above. The bq34z100 uses the Impedance Track gauging algorithm where the bq78350 is CEDV.
