Wich is the lowest consumption on LDO for a tranceiver application?

I build a transeiver application with HT7705 DC/DC converter to 5V then I add a TPS732001 and programed the output to 3.3 V because I need 5 V and 3.3 V in some parts and I need battery on this application, I'm looking for the best and lowest consumption LDO, the circuit works perfect, another partnert tested the HT7705 Holtek ldo and for my surprice the consumption decrease much more.

Could you please help me to understand why? and I'll be very gratefull if you can show me any better posibility of low consumption supply system.

    I am not sure what you mean by a lower consumption LDO. As far as LDOs are concerned the power dissipation is essentially the Vdo*I (dropout voltage * current).

    What exactly are you measuring that is different?
    Is it possible that since you have a fixed regulator vs a programmable regulator that the difference in current consumption is due to the resistors required to set the output voltage?

    Can you please help to clarify what exactly is changing?
