TPS564208 question

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS564208

Hi,

I'm fairly new to using switcher ICs and I'll be using TPS564208 for stepping down a 12V supply to 5, 3.3 and 1.1V. I'll be designing the circuit for a particular max current like around 3A. But the load will not draw that much current at all times. Sometimes it might even go below 100mA. In such a situation can I expect the switcher to provide stable output voltage for which it was designed. Once I had an issue with a switcher from Linear technology which gave the input voltage at the output at very light loads, almost frying a few components on board.
