TPS7A47 Reverse current diode

Dear all.

Does the reverse current diode need TPS4700/01?
A definition of "OUT pin to IN pin" absolute isn't writing in datasheet.

Hi PAN-M,

If you are expecting the output voltage to exceed the input voltage then a reverse current diode will be needed. The LDO is not designed with reverse current protection, thus to prevent reverse current damage a diode should be used.
