PCB for boost converter using TPS43000

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS43000

I'm trying to build a boost converter based on a TI application note regarding the TPS43000 chip (Application Report SLUA268, "2.5-V to 5.0-V, 600-kHz High Efficiency Synchronous Boost Converter...").  On page 7, that document shows a printed circuit board layout for the boost converter.  I'd like to find a Gerber file for the board, or better yet, perhaps just buy a pre-made board from somebody.  I just spoke with a TI customer service rep on the phone, but the rep said he cannot find any mention of the board anywhere except in the application note, and that if a Gerber file or board were available through TI, there would be a link on the TI web site.  There is no such link, and yet the image of the PC board in the application note even shows what appears to be a TI part reference number:  "PMP144 _ REV B" dated 1-09-02.

Does anyone on this forum have access to a Gerber file, the actual printed circuit boards, or any helpful information to share?

Thanks,

Eric

  • Eric,

PMP144 is an internal reference number for an internal reference design board.

If you know your local Power AFA, they should be able to look the files up and get them to you.

If not, send me a private message here with your e-mail address and I can send you a copy of the gerber files for that PCB.
