Hi,

I am using TPS3110K33DBVR in one of my designs. I do not want WDI timer feature. If I leave WDI pin open, will the internal watchdog timer

get disabled? If I permanently connect it to VDD or GND, that pin will sense no transition and will trigger reset. Let me know if my understanding is correct or not.

Hi Mitali,

The TPS3110K33DBVR does not allow its watchdog to be disabled. If you do not need a watchdog timer, you could try the TPS3103 and TPS3106, both of which are from the same family as the TPS3110 and don’t have watchdog timers.
