TL431 Stability Boundary Conditions- Ta=80c

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TL431

Hi,

The TL431 Application Report(SLVA482A) of page1, there is a Stability Boundary Conditions of the characteristics of the Ta=25 ℃.
We want a graph of the same as Ta=80 ℃.

The design criteria used in the Ta=80 ℃.
Can you offer?

Best regards

  • Hello,

We do not have data for stability boundary conditions at a temperature other than 25C.
When comparing to the 0 phase margin boundary (Figure 1 in the app note), we typically recommend you stay at least one decade away from the boundary condition to be stable across temperature and process.

When looking at the 30degrees phase margin plot, Figure 2 in the app note, we would recommend staying outside of the 30degrees phase margin plot for the device to be stable across temperature and process. Typically we recommend having the load capacitance be <1nF or >10uF. For best stability, we recommend no load capacitance.

    Best,
    Michael
