Hello,

the datasheet of PFC controller UCC28521 / UCC28528 states in section oscillator a maximum switching frequency of 230kHz.

In section PIN DESCRIPTION PIN2 a maximum switching frequency of 600kHz is mentioned.

Finally the TI website states 500kHz.

What is the right value?

    Hi David,

    The maximum oscillator frequency is 600 kHz, you can also reference Figure 13 for RT sizing. The oscillator section in the Electrical Characteristics table is referring to initial accuracy which can vary from 170 to 230 kHz for an initial set point at 200 kHz. This is not a statement on the overall maximum oscillator frequency.
