TLV62095 Webench Startup Simulation

After typing this forum posting I think I know what is going on, but I would appreciate some confirmation.  The startup simulation for the TLV62095 with 5V input and 1.0V output shows that the output shuts down at a certain point that is dependent upon the load.  For a load of about 2.35A or less it completes the startup.  But above 2.4A is fails.  Here is an example of what it looks like when it fails:

I believe the problem is the internal current limit that protects against shorted outputs.  It appears 1.8V is the lowest output voltage that will start up at the full rated current of 4A. At 1.0V, the load current must be less than 2.35A.  At 0.8V it must be less than 1.9A.

Once the output is above 0.6V, the internal current limit is lifted, and the full output of 4A can be realized.

In most systems this shouldn't be a problem because the system probably won't be fully up and running (meaning a lighter load) until after the supply has started.

I would like to know if I am understanding the simulation results properly or not.  I think I am, and I also think the simulation results are accurate.

Thank you and regards,

Greg
