Hi TI,

    I have use TPS659122YFFT PMIC in my Design, When i debug my circuit this PMIC very easy to demage.

    it‘s  HBD model ESD=±1KV, I worry about whether the value is too low make ESD demage the PMIC.

    Can you give me some advice,thanks very much.

    Hello,

    Please note that included ESD is designed for improving manufacturing reliability and is not necessarily designed for debug purposes. In particular, the ESD protection is tested when device is OFF and could have different effects with internal circuitry running.

    We recommend taking all possible cautions when debugging to minimize ESD damage risk, particularly ESD mats and wrist straps. An overview can be found here: www.ti.com.cn/.../ssya010a.pdf
