Gas Gauge Cal

tests.zipHello,

I am trying to calibrate a BQ34Z100-G1 with a LiPo Battery attached. I captured all the data for the gas gauge cal per SLUUBC9. When I submit the file zip I get an error that " cant be identified". I have attached the zip

Thanks,

John

  • Hi John,

You are getting that error because of the line "ChemID=LIPO". You need to input a Chem ID number that corresponds to your battery or the best match to your battery. If you need to find the best match, you should do a relax-discharge-relax cycle and upload the results to the GPC Chem ID Selection tool. The steps to perform this cycle are outlined here: www.ti.com/.../slva725.pdf. Additionally, from the voltage measurements, it looks like you have more than 1 cell in series, so change NumCellSeries to accurately reflect the amount of cells in your setup.
