we would like to know if above configuration is valid for the design and it will not cause any issues for USB data transfer to/from HOST.

At the same time, device should get charge from HOST device.

    Hello Y2K,

    The D+/D- lines on the bq24190 are used only to determine what type of USB port the device is connected to (SDP, DCP, CDP) and determine the current limit to ensure the USB battery charging spec is met.

    Once the USB port is detected by the charger and the input current limit is set, the D+/D- lines can be used to transfer data to the host SoC in the case of SDP or CDP ports.

    Please refer to section 9.3.1.3.4 for all the details about the D+/D- on the bq24190.
