LGC INR18650MJ1 Chem ID 2059 with description “…..,-20C”

I have a project using LGC INR18650MJ1 cell.

When I search the Chem ID, I only find ID 2059 with description “…..,-20C”

What's the meaning of -20C? Is it a Chem ID especially fine tuned for ultra-low temperature?

If my application operating temperature is 0~60 degree C, and will not under the -20 degree C condition.

Is it OK to use this Chem ID? Will it have any impact to FCC or RSOC% accuracy?

Or which ID should I select?

Thanks~

  • hi Sean,

The -20 deg C means the cell was specifically characterized for low temp performance. It may likely be ok, but i recommend you use our online tool to determine the best chem id to use that best matches your cell.

    thanks
