I am using battery manager studio and an ev2300 to write a gg.csv file into a BQ34Z100-G1. Every time I import the GG.csv and click on write all I get the following error.

I happens every time i write all and most time I try and read all.

It looked like your srec file was corrupted and I need to look at it some more. It will be next week, before I can get back to it. You can send the most recent gg file that you are using.

The gg.csv I sent in my previous post is the only one I'm using. In the mean time I replace the bricked device with a new IC and I am getting this error when I read or write anything to the new IC. This was happening with the old IC and may be part of the problem. Is this potentially a EV2300 issue?

Are you importing the gg_out.csv file? If this is the one that is causing the error, then try using the attached gg file and see whether it helps. The T rise parameter is incorrect in the gg_out.csv file and I set it and the T Time Constant parameters back to their default values.

I programmed it in but I still get the constant failed comparison error, checksum errors and packet errors with the battery studio SW. The signals look fine when I probe it. It looks like other people are have similar issues with the BQ34Z100-G1. Is there some setting I can change in the SW to solve this issue.

If you cannot correct these issue by reloading the firmware and restoring the gauge to a new state, then you may have an EV2300 problem or tools problem. Have you tried another EV2300 or an EV2400?

Sadly we only have one EV2300. Would your team be willing to lend me a confirmed working one to see if that is the issue. If it is I can exchange it for the broken one. If not I can just mail that one back.

just curious, but do you know why the unseal code changed to 5 in the csv you posted.
