Hi Keith,

I have seen some similar circuits to what you are trying to do and have attached a previous E2E thread that discusses something very similar.

There are also other options such as paralleling LDO's to do the current sharing: www.ti.com/.../tidu421.pdf

I do have a few questions about your application; such as, what is the output current and voltage that you are trying to achieve? Does the application require low noise? We have several other wide Vin parts that have a higher current limit than the TPS715.
