LM5088: issue for reach 3A nominal

Why can't I reach 3A nominal current on this design ? Components around looks to be strong enough:

webench.ti.com/.../SDP.cgi

In fact, I need a Vout = -18V from a Vin = 24V for a 3A current.

could you please help me ?

Hi David,

Did the circuit work at 2A load? The WEBENCH design you shared was created for max. of 2A. If the BOM used per the shared WEBENCH design, it won't reach the 3A load you are seeking.

Hi,

I don't know if it works at 2A, only simulation for the moment but I found the solution durint the night ;-)

To reach 3A I need to increase the input voltage to 26V, change L1 for a 8U2 and also change compensation values and output capacitor.
