Cell Pack Protection

Protections or layers of protection will vary with the industry or application. The bq76940 will provide a recoverable protection switching FETs. Your system may need a secondary protector controlling a fuse, or a current limiting system like a PTC. Recoverable protections should actuate before non-recoverable ones and before protections built into the cells.
You would need to check with manufacturers of the appropriate component type for available ratings.

I did not think the chip was the full package, but I could have be wrong. (guess Not)

I posted the Question because I can not seem to locate any PTCs that are rated at 63volts (15 series cells).

Thermal switches either.  And just on manufacture of thermal fuses.

Can you suggest any suppiers?

It is in the Ball park, but the current is too low.
I will see if the have related families.
