bq24133 and power path

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24133

Hi,

I'm planning on using bq24133 in my design but I have a question regarding the power management-

the application in general is a mobile device which powered by a small 12V motor. the motor is turning brushes which cleaning light load.

the motor powered by 3-cell Li-Ion rechargeable battery. whenever the device locating in its docking station, recharging occurs, and the motor is off.

at operation the motor is on and charging is off. therefore, I don't need power path (sys line is not relevant).

so, my questions are-

1. is it possible to dissable the power path and to keep it as if the load powered by the battery path?

2. could this battery charger IC be system-controlled and not stand alone?

3. thermistor wise- is it true that there's not need to connect the thermistor line from the battery, but locate the AT103 afar from the battery? (actually, if so, it's great for me, I don't want to connect the thermistor line from the battery).

Thanks,
